OUR COMPANY
Bringing calm order to one of life's most important admin tasks
Legora was founded on a simple belief: that families who have talked about wishes and know where their records are kept face the future with far less strain.
← Back to HomeWHO WE ARE
A different kind of estate service
Legora started from a recognition that most families in Thailand — whether locals, long-term residents, or mixed-nationality households — have no clear picture of what they own, where the paperwork is, or what the people around them would want. That gap tends not to matter until it really does. Then it matters enormously.
We are not lawyers, notaries, or financial advisers. We are organisers, facilitators, and educators. Our role is to help you get your records into order and to give your family the vocabulary and structure to talk about wishes — before those conversations are forced on you by circumstance.
Everything we do stays firmly within the scope of education, organisation, and facilitated conversation. For the regulated steps — drafting documents, obtaining legal advice, managing financial matters — we refer clients to qualified professionals. That boundary is deliberate, and we hold to it carefully.
OUR MISSION
Order before urgency. Clarity before crisis.
Legora's mission is to help families bring quiet order to estate records while there is still time and calm in which to do so. We believe that a well-kept record and an open family conversation are among the most considerate things a person can arrange for the people they care about.
We work from our office in Lumphini, Bangkok, and serve clients across Thailand in English. Sessions are available in person and online.

HOW WE WORK
Our standards and working practices
Clear scope of service
Every Legora programme is scoped carefully: education, organisation, and facilitation only. We do not advise, represent, or draft. This keeps your interests properly served.
Confidential sessions
What is shared in a Legora session stays in that session. We do not retain or share personal information beyond what is needed to deliver the programme you have enrolled in.
Facilitation training
All Legora facilitators hold professional facilitation qualifications and have specific experience in sensitive family conversation contexts. Sessions are conducted thoughtfully and at a pace that suits the participants.
Current Thai context
Workshop content is reviewed regularly to reflect how estate and inheritance processes generally work in Thailand. We point participants to official sources, not interpretations.
Referral network
We maintain a list of qualified lawyers, notaries, and financial advisers who work with clients in Thailand. Where a referral is useful, we make it without charge or preference.
Plain English throughout
All materials, templates, and sessions are written and spoken in plain English — no specialist vocabulary without explanation, and no content designed to confuse or overwhelm.
ABOUT OUR WORK
Estate organisation as a family practice
Legora occupies a specific space that has long been underserved: the gap between "I should probably sort this out" and "we need a lawyer urgently." Most families know the first feeling well. The Estate Inventory Toolkit and the accompanying guided session are designed to bridge that gap — not with legal process, but with practical organisation.
The Understanding the Process Workshop addresses a different need: many people living and working in Thailand — whether Thai nationals or residents from other countries — have only a vague idea of how estate matters are handled here. The workshop explains the general picture in plain English, pointing to official sources and identifying the kinds of professional support that are commonly needed.
The Family Wishes Conversation Programme sits at the heart of what Legora does. Families who have spoken openly about wishes and shared knowledge of where records are held are measurably better prepared to handle estate matters when the time comes. The programme is structured to make those conversations genuinely possible — not awkward, rushed, or painful.
Legora is based at 220 Wireless Road, Lumphini, Bangkok, and serves families across Thailand. Sessions are available in person and by video call.
